June 16, 2008 - World Class Sailors Interviewed on KSDP (Sand Point, Alaska) - 830AM KSDP / Aleutian Peninsula Broadcasting, Inc.'s program Meet the People today included three world class sailors who arrived in Sand Point late last week. May 16, 2008 - New Board Members (Sand Point, Alaska) - 830AM KSDP / Aleutian Peninsula Broadcasting announced the election of Justin Godbehere and the appointment of Marta Varga to the Board of Directors at its May 15, 2008 annual meeting. May 15, 2008 - KSDP Annual Meeting (Sand Point, Alaska) - 830AM KSDP / Aleutian Peninsula Broadcasting will hold its Annual Meeting on May 15, 2008 at the radio station's studios located on the first floor of the Sand Point City Building. The Board of Directors will count the ballots and announce the winner of the radio station Board election. January 14, 2008 - Community Advisory Board (Sand Point, Alaska) - 830AM KSDP Radio seeks volunteers to serve on its Community Advisory Board. The CAB will meet regularly with the station's General Manager to discuss programming. The CAB's role is strictly advisory. Anyone interested in being a part of the CAB should contact KSDP. January 12, 2008 - Web Streaming (Sand Point, Alaska) - 830AM KSDP / Aleutian Peninsula Broadcasting, Inc. announced today that the station will stream online its full broadcast schedule. The station is working closely with Public Radio Interactive to ensure full compliance with copyright and intellectual property laws. KSDP anticipates to be streaming online by late February 2008. May 22, 2007 - New Board Elected (Sand Point, Alaska) - 830AM KSDP / Aleutian Peninsula Broadcasting, Inc. announced on Monday, May 14, 2007 at its annual meeting results from its Board of Directors Election. The new Board is scheduled to meet on Tuesday, May 22, 2007 @ 7pm at the City Building. March 19, 2007 - Board Election (Sand Point, Alaska) - 830AM KSDP has concluded its membership drive and is working to compose the ballot for the election of directors. The ballot is not ready to be mailed out yet and is still being agreed on. A final ballot will not be ready before March 23. Feb. 3, 2007 - KSDP Back on the Air (Sand Point, Alaska) - 830am KSDP is back on the air after a wind storm moved a reciever on the tower several days ago. The problem was fixed today when Shawn Hill climbed the tower and pulled the reciever back into place. Jan. 29, 2007 - High Winds Temporarily Silence KSDP (Sand Point, Alaska) - 830am KSDP Public Radio is off the air following a ninety to one hundred mile per hour wind storm earlier today. Efforts are underway to find the problem and a prompt solution.
(Sand Point, Alaska) - In response to the November 15 tsunami bulletin that impacted Southwest Alaska, KSDP has launched a tsunami information website to keep our listeners safe and informed in the event of future tsunami activity.
